Where we are

We are in Week 6 of the Writing Home challenge, and if you’ve been taking part, you should have some freewriting and other notes generated by the exercises in weeks 1-4. In Week 5 we had our EFT tapping session, which is both for those who are writing memoir for healing purposes, and for those who would like to clear some of the emotions that come up when we write about foundational and sometimes painful things.

Tapping brings great clarity. Friday’s piece about my brother, for example, came directly out of an insight I had while tapping, and I continued to tap (just on my collarbone point as I wrote it (or more accurately, as I was reading aloud what I had written so far, to find the glitches in it; as a touch-typist, I need both hands for the actual writing part!)
